Alabama Graphite Reports Further Drill Results from Coosa Graphite Project

January 10, 2013, Vancouver – Alabama Graphite Corp. (the “Company”) (CNSX:ALP) (Frankfurt: 1AG.F WKN A1J35M, ISIN# CA0102931080 ) is pleased to announce further drill results from its just-completed 6000m drill program at the Coosa Graphite Project in Coosa County Alabama.

The final tally from the 6,000m included 54 core holes in the grid and 12 holes drilled “fencing” the grid, six to the northeast of the grid and six to the southwest.

Results were received from holes AGC-H05C, H06C, H07C, H08C and H09C.  These are the first assays received from inside the 54 hole drill grid, which covers approximately 20 hectares.  All the reported assay results represent intervals that begin beneath the oxidation zone.  These five holes (along with 38 others within the grid) were additionally pre-collared through the oxidized zone using a sonic drill.  Sonic drilling was employed to optimize recoveries in the upper oxidized zone that were not achievable with the diamond core drill.  Results from the oxidized portions of these holes will be released at a later date after the sonic samples are processed and assayed.

Samples were logged and sampled at the Company’s facility in Sylacauga and shipped to ALS Minerals in Elko, Nevada, for analysis.  The samples were analyzed for graphitic carbon (Cg) by the LECO method.

Below is a table summarizing  results from these new diamond drill holes:

CEO Dan Spine comments, “The analytical results for the three holes recently released and the five holes noted in this press release show very consistent graphite values, with a negligible coefficient of variation.  We are awaiting analytical results from sonic drilling in the near-surface oxidized zone as well as in the underlying unoxidized zone in the remaining holes of the drill grid.  Logging of these remaining holes suggests that similar grades may be present in many of them.  If analytical results support these visual estimates, the volume of graphitic schist at similar graphite grades within the drill grid may be quite large.  We are very optimistic.”

The company expects results of assays through the end of February after which a resource estimate will be prepared by Scott Wilson (Metal Mining Associates, Denver).

Dana Durgin, P.Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and independent consultant to the Company, has reviewed the contents of this press release.
